2024 Winter JD

(WINTER TERM – January 3 – January 12, 2024)

The law school offers a Winter Term in conjunction with the Spring 2024 Semester and all Winter Term courses will be held completely remotely. Credits earned over Winter Term are considered part of the Spring 2024 semester and Winter Term tuition will be billed at the same time Spring 2024 tuition is billed. Registration for Winter Term opens at the same time as Spring 2024 registration. Students must include the credits in which they intend to enroll during Winter Term in their Spring 2024 semester course load calculations. Reminder: part-time students may be enrolled in a maximum of 12 credits for the Winter Term/Spring Semester combined, and full-time students may be enrolled in a maximum of 17 credits.

Not all Winter Term courses are open to first-year students. Winter Term courses that are available to first-year students are noted with an asterisk (*) below.

All winter courses count as Distance Education.

For planning purposes, students should expect to complete 20-30 hours of work outside class for each Winter Term course. There will be assigned reading prior to the first class for all courses. Please consult the course syllabi, once posted, for this and the other course requirements. All courses will be graded CR/NC (except as noted below) and will be considered in-class credits under Academic Regulation 3-3.1.
