Moot Court Board Teams Excel in D.C. Competitions

In a rousing start to the spring semester, the 3L team of Brendan Donoghue and Jacob Pintar finished first in the National Telecommunications and Technology Moot Court Competition held February 7–8 at Catholic University. Donoghue and Pintar prevailed in a field of 13 teams, winning their final round match against NYU Law School before a panel of communications law experts.

In another outstanding performance to end the fall semester, 3L’s Jacob Hooper and Eddie Linczer placed second out of 27 teams in the National Veterans Law Moot Court Competition. The event was held at George Washington University and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims on November 9–10, 2024. Hooper and Linczer also were recognized as co-best oral advocates in the event.
