The Judge Robert H. Bork Professorship of Law

The Judge Robert H. Bork Professorship of Law will be a permanent legacy to a man who was an antitrust pioneer, dedicated educator, and the original originalist.
As Solicitor General, his arguments before the Supreme Court were models of brilliant, erudite, persuasive advocacy. He was a widely acclaimed scholar and author, respected as a brilliant, penetrating thinker and a formidable advocate. As a professor at the George Mason School of Law (now the Antonin Scalia Law School), his classrooms were exciting places.
A Chair honoring Judge Bork will allow the faculty recipient the financial flexibility to advance instructional programs, develop new ideas, fund students’ work and make innovative advances in their own portfolio of work. Furthermore, following a generous gift from philanthropists Allison and Dorothy Rouse, the Scalia Law School is in the position to match the endowment gift with a fund established by the Rouse Family. Please join us in the creating a permanent legacy for this extraordinary scholar.
