Biographical Sketch

Daniela de la Piedra is an attorney and Certified Professional Coach. For 13 years, Daniela represented low-income seniors at Legal Counsel for the Elderly, in Washington, D.C. and advocated for their economic and healthcare security and dignity. In 2021, Daniela pivoted from the legal field and went back to school to become a certified coach. A helper at heart, Daniela now owns a coaching and consulting business, and supports individuals and organizations with career, leadership and capacity building goals. Daniela is able to marry her legal and coaching background now in her current role as Career Advisor for LLM and JM students at the Antonin Scalia Law School.

Daniela has a JD from the Washington College of Law, American University, a MPA with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from George Mason University, and a BA in Latin American Studies from the University of Virginia. Daniela received her Certified Professional Coach training and certification from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching.
