Biographical Sketch

Brian J. Benison is the Director of Director of Graduate Admissions and International Initiatives for the residential and online Master of Laws (LLM) programs, as well as the Juris Masters (JM) program. He has over 10 years of experience in international education including six years working in China and Japan. Mr. Benison joined Scalia Law School after a stint at George Mason’s Global Education Office where he worked on strategic international partnerships. His work led to Mason partnerships with Ghent University in Belgium, Waseda University in Japan, and University of Santa Maria in Chile. Mr. Benison is also a PhD student in Mason’s International Education department and is scheduled to graduate in 2025.
