Biographical Sketch

Randy I. Bellows is a Circuit Court Judge for the 19th Judicial Circuit (Fairfax), where he has served since 2002. Prior to going on the bench, Judge Bellows was an Assistant United States Attorney and Senior Litigation Counsel in the Eastern District of Virginia, where he prosecuted fraud and national security cases. In addition, he served for several years as a trial attorney in the Fraud Section of the United States Department of Justice, where he handled complex fraud prosecutions around the country. Before becoming a federal prosecutor, Judge Bellows was a staff attorney at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia, where he represented indigent defendants in the Superior Court.
