Biographical Sketch

Duties:

Serve as the primary point of contact for all law school human resources matters, and oversee personnel related functions for the department. Provide instruction and guidance to the department for a range of personnel functions along with serving as a liaison between the departments’ supervisors, employees, and the university’s central Human Resources (HR) Department.

Carolina joined the Scalia Law School in 2018 as the Human Resources Specialist. She serves as the primary point of contact for all law school human resources matters, and oversees personnel related functions for the department. She provides instruction and guidance to the department for a range of personnel functions, as well as, a liaison between the departments’ supervisors, employees, and the university’s central HR department. Ms. Abaunza-Mathes majored in Business Marketing at Mercyhurst University and received her Masters of Arts in Human Resources from INEDE Business School (Spain).
